Built, in that time, newly developed tourist area of Limassol, five apparent complexes, 125 apartments, 35 shops, cafeterias and swimming pools. Also in downtown Limassol three apartment buildings for residential occupancy.
Commercial - Hotels
Asteria Beach Hotel. A nine-story building next to the shore, landscaping the surrounding beach.
Crusaders Beach Hotel. A real castle-like building, 8-story high with swimming pools and waterfront structure and boardwalk, providing protection to the shore. The same building was renovated recently by our company.
Commercial - Banks
OASIS, The COOP Bank of Limassol. Maybe the most elaborate building of that time. A building designed by a team of Cyprus’s most famous architects and engineers, covered with stone and granite, a large safebox and underground parking, spaceframe structure, and other features firstly introduced in Cyprus.
Popular Bank of Cyprus. The headquarters of one of the most powerful institutions in Cyprus, built in the heard of the busy downtown of Limassol.
Commercial - Offices
Maryvone Court. An office complex in downtown Limassol. A beautiful step like structure with colorful features.
Zenios Cans Offices. Built in the industrial Area of Limassol the offices of a large canning industry. Dome like structure with complex façade formwork over an existing structure using epoxy injection connections.
Building Renovations Restorations & Additions
Tsirium Stadium of Limassol. Probably the most intense structural repair project in Cyprus in terms of difficulty, complexity, and completion time. Structural reinforcement of all stadium’s columns & connecting beams, cutting all surrounding walls, drilling and injecting thousands of hooks around each of 52 columns, placement of reinforcement, surrounding formwork 1.20x1.20x7.50mx2, concrete pouring with super-plasticizers. The job was completed in 7 weeks time.
Structural Reinforcement of apartment blocks. Corrosive steel bars treatment, breaking off all column and beam corners, clearing off all rust, applying epoxy coatings and finishing using the “thixotropic” polymer mortars.
Restoration of a the Limassol Municipal Theater after fire. Clearing and demolition of all burned items, removal of all asbestos roof, replacement of roof covering with rockwool and metal sheets with PVC coating, demolition and reconstruction of the theaters plaster acoustical drop ceiling, removal and reinstallation of all theater seats.
Industrial
Expansion and restoration of an old winery. Substitution of subbase, complete drainage system, concrete floooring 25,000ft2, stainless steel drainage channels, “Vinimatic” flooring, reinforced concrete bases for s/s wine containers (240 y3 of concrete), retaining wall 400’ long and 15’ tall, mechanical and electrical installation facilities. The job was completed in nine weeks time.
Industrial metal framing of a Metal Can Factory. Substitution of subbase, base and concrete flooring – 20,000 sq.ft. – irrigation, drainage and sewage system, metal framing erection, metal sheet roof, asphalt and pavements.
Additions and repairs at a Fruit processing factory – Substitution of subbase, Reinforced concrete floor of 2’ thickness, façade and structural repairs on stone walls, stainless steel drainage channels and complete drainage system.
